The Store Operations Board (SOB) is composed of UC Berkeley students, faculty and staff. The Board, in accordance with its Charter, Statement and Memorandum of Understanding oversees the Cal Student Stores, the Student Union, Anthony and Eshleman Halls' building operations, the ASUC Art Studio, and other income-producing activities. The Board establishes policy and standards as well as provides oversight over all ASUC Commercial Activities in a manner consistent with all applicable University policies, as set forth in the ASUC Commercial Activities Agreement between the ASUC and the University of California, Berkeley. The Chancellor and the ASUC delegates to the Board the authority necessary for it to carry out its functions as described in the ASUC Commercial Activities Agreement.
