The Publications Center & Open Computing Facility are located on the ground floor of Eshleman Hall. The space features a Mac and PC computer lab, publishing software (Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator CS3), scanners, and high-resolution printers (in color and black and white). The facility also includes offices for various student publications, including the Blue & Gold Yearbook and Berkeley Fiction Review, and a lounge with a couch and chairs.
The Open Computing Facility is an all-volunteer, student-run, student-initiated service group dedicated to free computing for all University of California Berkeley students, faculty, and staff. Among many services, the OCF offers:
- Free printing (250 pages/semester; 150 pages/summer)
- Free webspace (400 MB)
- Free e-mail (@ocf.berkeley.edu)
- Computer lab (Ground Floor of Eshleman Hall)
